The work of the CIL and its Future

Every week, the Christadelphian Isolation League reaches brothers, sisters, and young people across the world who cannot regularly meet with an ecclesia — sometimes because of distance, sometimes health, age, circumstances, or simply being the only believer in their area.

From exhortations and Bible studies, to youth activities, braille publications, pastoral visits in Ireland, the Recordings Library, the website, and the CIL Meet platform… this work is a lifeline to many. Often unseen. Always appreciated. And increasingly vital.

This video explores:

  • What the CIL actually does — the breadth of its spiritual and pastoral work
  • How the League operates — the volunteers, systems, and structure behind it
  • The current situation — including financial pressures and rising costs
  • The steps already taken to become more efficient and sustainable
  • A vision for the future — how the CIL can continue serving, God willing

Above all, it’s an honest look at where we find ourselves today: blessed with dedicated workers, grateful recipients, and a long tradition of service… yet facing a reality that requires us to think carefully, work together, and plan wisely.
